As it is now though, my first encounter with a group of dual axe-wielding humans actually made me wince and every subsequent encounter confirmed that gut reaction. You usually have to do this multiple times per chase.The only bit of combat that nearly clicked was the perfect guard, which knocks back and stuns groups of enemies if I time it just before their strike. What you'll need to do is drive until the car starts burning, jump out and steal one of the enemies cars. trying to drive away from enemies is almost impossible, just a few bullet hits will demolish your car, and not getting hit is very hard since it's always spawning gun mounted cars that you can't outdrive. So to secure the side mission progress you would need to travel to a safe house and manually save between every mission, and fast travelling is kinda slow in this game. controls are a mess - you can't vault over ledges - checkpoints are only reliable on main missions, I once lost progress on like 3 side missions because I died in an explosion and got sent back to the last time I completed a main mission. Apart from that this game is a mess and I could chose to complain about loads of things, but just to mention some things: - you can jump from 20 meter heights or take 20 bullets without dying, but as soon as a vehicle runs into you in 5 km/h, you die almost instantly.
